This “BIG” guy had a growth spurt and needed a new stick. He was the only kid on the team still using the free training stick and he never once complained. While I appreciated that-the stick was too small for him. 🏒
When we told him he could pick out a new one today after practice (with help from the professional in the shop) he legit cried happy tears, out in public, at the skating rink. 😭
Chris and I looked at each other like UM….is this normal. Turns out it is! Google said so but ya’ll happy tears are full of BIG emotions!!! 💜
It’s so easy to get in a rut and feel like all the things you do go unnoticed…not just at home but out in the world. Today this mama really needed to see such a thankful heart from such a little boy.
