Colton and I were running errands today and our last stop was at a church. ⛪️
I was planning a super quick pop in to drop off some books 📚 so I pulled up to the entrance and parallel parked so we could run in super quick.
Colton-MOM you are illegally parked.
Me-It’s fine we will be super quick.
Colton-Mom is illegally parking a crime?

So there I was friends- justifying my decision to “break the law.”
We get into the church and Colton says to the gal: Please pray for my mom, she’s clearly injured and unable to park in a regular spot. I smiled and dragged him out of the church.
We get in the car and Colton says: I just want you to know I’ve got your back! Remember that in the future. I may need you to cover for me one day.
I thought I had explained everything thoroughly and apologized for my illegal parking job….
Colton-during bedtime prayers: Dear Lord please forgive my mom for breaking the law at your house earlier today. Please help me not to break the law one day because she won’t cover for me…..
